Richard Dubé – Senior Field Technician
Richard Dubé began his career as a projectionist at the IMAX theatre located in the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Gatineau. He later worked for IMAX Les Ailes at Brossard (Québec). In addition to being a Chief Projectionist, he participated in the construction of the IMAX in Victoria, British Columbia, and the Paramount Theatre in Toronto.
Richard Dubé has close to 30 years of experience in the cinema industry. He holds certifications in IMAX projection maintenance & repairs for SR, GT and the MPX Digital system. He is a certified digital cinema technician whose expertise is highly sought after by our clients across the country beyond the borders. He was part of the team that installed the first Digital IMAX system in Washington DC.
IMAX has also required his services for the projection of the IMAX movie Interstellar at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, the latest Star Wars movie at Universal Studios in Los Angeles and more recently Dunkirk in San Francisco.
