In 2010, Empire Theatres (now Landmark Cinemas) partnered with ProjecTech to convert their 400 theatres from 35mm to digital projection systems. Up until now, we have installed more than 900 projection systems in Canada and around the world. IMAX, among others, uses our services on a regular basis to install digital and laser systems in several countries.

Our clientele also includes a vast majority of independent movie theatre owners throughout Canada. We understand the reality of independently owned theatres and we do our very best to provide options and solutions to resolve any technical challenges.

Institutional

ProjecTech serves a great number of theatres located in various institutions such as: museums, science centers, art galleries, performing arts venues, entertainment / sports venues, and several universities.

We operate the movie theatre at the Canadian Museum of History located in the Ottawa Region, where we also have an office. This theatre is unique as it is equipped with a dual projection system: a laser digital system projecting on a flat screen and a Film (70mm) system projecting on a Dome.
